Balázs graduated from the Corvinus University of Budapest with a degree in Human Resources, majoring Labour Psychology. He started his career at Hays Hungary, initially as a Talent Acquisition Trainee in the Construction & Property Team. He was introduced to the client base of the Hungarian construction industry and learned specific recruitment methods and the basis of direct search. He also gained in-depth knowledge of social media and keyword research and participated in headhunting projects. Balázs has won the Hays Hungary Top Trainee award three times in a row.

In appreciation of his work, he continued his career as a consultant and helped build the division: as the recruitment team grew, he specialised first in electrical and mechanical engineering positions and then exclusively in mechanical engineering positions. Hays gave him the opportunity for continuous development, so in parallel with his promotions, his responsibilities expanded to include business development activities aiming at acquiring new clients and representing the company in a professional capacity.

In November 2018, he took over the financial and operational management of the Construction & Property division, and in April 2022 he was appointed to lead the strategic direction of the Accountancy & Finance team. From April 2023, he is responsible for the development of the Life Sciences division and the technical support of the construction and finance teams as a Business Unit Manager.
